Last updated: April 6, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Agrilot platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform. Agrilot reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into binding contracts to use Agrilot. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to conduct livestock transactions in your jurisdiction.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify Agrilot immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Auction Rules
All bids placed on Agrilot are binding offers to purchase. Sellers set reserve prices at their discretion. Agrilot provides comparable sales data for informational purposes only and does not guarantee valuations. Bid sniping protections extend auctions by 2 minutes when bids are placed in the final minutes.
5. Seller Obligations
Sellers must provide accurate descriptions of all animals listed. Misrepresentation of breed, health status, registration, or condition may result in account suspension and liability for damages. Sellers are responsible for ensuring all health certificates, registrations, and transfer documents are current and valid.
6. Buyer Obligations
Winning bidders are obligated to complete the purchase. Payment must be received within 3 business days of auction close. Failure to pay may result in account suspension and negative feedback. Buyers are responsible for arranging and paying for transport unless otherwise agreed.
7. Fees and Payments
Agrilot charges a buyer's premium and a seller's commission on completed transactions. Current fee schedules are available on the platform. All payments are processed through secure escrow until the buyer confirms receipt of the animal.
8. AI-Generated Reports
Agrilot provides AI-generated condition reports as supplementary information. These reports are estimates and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for purchasing decisions. Buyers are encouraged to conduct independent inspections.
9. Limitation of Liability
Agrilot acts as a marketplace facilitator and is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers. Agrilot is not liable for the condition, quality, or legality of animals listed, the accuracy of seller representations, or any disputes between buyers and sellers.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
